MAHDI NEVER SHEDS BLOOD
As Allah commands, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will never shed blood

Many events involving politics and across the world ever since the 1980s have been taking place in line with the systems of the Mahdi and the Messiah. Since 1980 (Hijri 1400) the Islamic world has been awaiting the explicit coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) as foretold in the hadiths of our Prophet (saas), the verses of the Qur’an and statements by great Islamic scholars. In the light of information in the Torah and the Gospels, these same dates are when the Jews await the coming of the King Messiah [in other words, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] and Christians the return of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh).
To date, and particularly involving certain evangelicals and misinformed Muslims, a most mistaken policy has been followed due to a belief that the movements of the Mahdi and the Messiah will shed blood and that there will be a great battle between Muslims and the People of the Book. The role of evangelicals in American foreign policy in particular led to the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan in the time of the previous U.S. administration and to the shedding of the blood of millions of innocent Muslims as well as Europeans and Americans. Some evangelicals, Christians belonging to various denominations and a number of Jews, albeit a very low one, believe that this bloodshed will grow and intensify and foresee a great battle between Muslims and the People of the Book. The way that some people with low levels of knowledge in the Islamic world depict Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) as someone who will shed blood and ruthlessly slaughter Shiites, Wahabbists, Jews and Christians will obviously further encourage such expectations.
The fact is, however, that EVERYONE WHO EXPECTS BLOODSHED IN THE NEXT PART OF THE END TIMES ARE MAKING A SERIOUS ERROR. NEITHER THE PROPHET JESUS (pbuh) NOR HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh) WILL EVER SHED BLOOD. ON THE CONTRARY, THEY WILL CAUSE THE MORAL VALUES OF THE RELIGION TO PREVAIL WITH LOVE, AFFECTION, GENTLE WORDS AND COMPASSION. On this subject, evangelicals and those Muslims who regard the People of the Book as the enemy are seriously mistaken.
It is impossible for Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) to engage in any conflict, encourage any fighting or shed any blood, BECAUSE ALLAH HAS COMMANDED HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh) NOT TO SHED BLOOD. HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh) WILL ACT IN THE LIGHT OF THE MORAL VALUES AND COMMANDMENTS REVEALED BY ALLAH TO OUR PROPHET (SAAS) AND WILL ABIDE BY THE QUR’AN AND THE HADITHS. Our Prophet (saas) has revealed in detail the path that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) must follow, the methods he must apply in order to bring about the dominion of Islamic moral values, and how he must behave in what situations. It is Almighty Allah Who provided our Prophet (saas) with this information, by way of the angel Gabriel who imparted it. Therefore, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will act in the light of Allah’s commands in every step he takes, every decision he makes and everything he does.
ALLAH’S COMMAND TO HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh) IS “THAT HE SHOULD NOT PERMIT ONE DROP OF BLOOD TO BE SHED, THAT HE SHOULD NOT ALLOW ANYONE’S NOSE EVEN TO BLEED, THAT HE CANNOT WAKEN THE SLEEPER AND THAT HE MUST ACT WITH GENTLENESS, WARMTH AND KINDNESS.”
The command not to shed blood, is a command given to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) by our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), it is a strict directive. As the necessity of this command of our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will never shed blood in any period of his life. Anyone who acts otherwise, that is anyone who sheds blood, in spite of the strict directive of our Prophet (saas) is definitely not the Mahdi (pbuh).
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will shed not one drop of blood and
will not awaken the sleeper
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is someone who avoids war, a man of peace. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will cause the moral values of the Qur’an to rule the world through love, not through war. The fact that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will bring about the rule of the moral values of the deen [the religion of Islam] through peace and love, which represents one of his main distinguishing features, is described as follows in the hadith:
People will seek refuge in the Mahdi (pbuh)as honey bees cluster around their sovereign. He will fill the world that was once full of cruelty, with justice. His justice will be as such that HE WILL NOT WAKE A SLEEPING PERSON NOT EVEN ONE DROP OF BLOOD IS SHED. The Earth will return to the age of happiness. (Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 29 and 48)
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)will follow the way of the Prophet (saas). HE WILL NOT WAKE UP A SLEEPING PERSON OR NO BLOOD WILL BE SHED. (Portents of Doomsday, p. 163)
IN THE TIME OF [HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh)] NO ONE WILL BE WOKEN UP FROM THEIR SLEEP OR HAVE A BLEEDING NOSE. (Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 44)
Those who swear allegiance to him [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will swear allegiance between the Corner and the Maqam [near the Kaaba]. THEY WILL NOT WAKEN THE SLEEPER, AND THEY WILL NEVER SHED BLOOD. (Al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar, p. 24)
Our Prophet (saas) tells us that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will put an end to strife, war and conflict by waging an intellectual campaign against all these. We are told in hadith that in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) all weapons will fall silent and wars will come to an end, and that peace, love and justice will rule the world following the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh):
War (competents) will lay down its burden (arms and the like). (Sunan Ibn Majah, 10/334)
War (competents) put down their weighs [their weapons, etc.]. (Imam Sharani, Death-Doomsday-Hereafter and The Signs of the End Times, p. 496)
Enmity and hatred between people will cease… Like the cup fills with water, so will earth fill with peace… There will be religious unity. Nobody but Allah will be worshipped. War will put down its burden. (Sunan Ibn Majah, 10/334)
There will be no enmity left between any people. And all hostility, fighting, and envy will definitely disappear. (Imam Sharani, Death-Doomsday-Hereafter and The Signs of the End Times, p. 496)
As indicated in the reference to the “burden of war,” all forms of violence, oppression, fighting and conflict will come to an end at this time. In total contrast to the system of the antichrist, therefore, the system of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be a compassionate, well-intentioned and rational one based on human love and respect. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will establish justice across the world, yet“not one drop of blood will be spilled.” His time will be one that reflects true peace and love.

Islam is a religion that attaches great importance to compassion; Islam embraces all religions.
The Qur’an commands us to approach the people of the book humanely
The idea of destroying Jews does not have any place in the moral values of the Qur’an
USA was refraining from the Mahdi because of a false understanding about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Actually Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will never shed blood and he will bring peace to the entire world.
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the most modern person of his time, and he will bestow liberty. Fanatics and communists may want bloodshed, but Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will not permit one drop of blood to be shed.
There is no compulsion in religion. Every individual must live by his own beliefs.
There is full democracy in Islam
Love and affection towards the people of the book as depicted in the Qur’an.
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be in a peaceful and affectionate activity in the beginning, in the middle and in the end.
Muslims and the people of the book will live as brothers in time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)
With the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh), the world will enter an age of peace, love and wealth.
There must be no enmity towards Jews and Christians, and it is a very wrong concept
The years that the people of Ishmael (pbuh) and the people of Jacob (pbuh) will live together in peace and brotherhood has arrived
There will be a glorious freedom and liberty in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), as in the days of our Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), far removed from radicalism and bigotry.
Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will conquer the world with love and compassion.

I have not previously heard this view of a peaceful Mahdi.
